Robert "Bob" Smith, who hosted the "Captain Honolulu" show on KHVH TV now KITV from 1959 to 1969. Smith first took the character of "Sgt. Sacto," the right- hand man to Captain Honolulu, who was never seen when the show first went on the air, but later he became Captain Honolulu because the children started to know him as that character.
